Giampaolo Gentili’s works, which my eyes had classified at the first moment as highly “misguiding”, offer to the curious and watchful eye of the observer, the unusual possibilty of an immersion in a dreamy imaginary –of a desired or a dreamed place- at least inasmuch as they’re real- of known places- leaving the horison free, without the need of educating it to a bounding perception. Which better approach of art if not transgressing  from rules of the real and the given?
